The Excursions’ Itinerary is subject to modification at the discretion of the program director and facility availability. Parents will be notified in advance of the travel date, destination, and mode of transportation. Mode of transportation will be a commercial transportation service, the program’s passenger van, or the city bus. No private personal cars will be used to transport your child on a field trip. Some destinations are within walking distance of the program site.

WHOOSH STAYCATION ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
An eight-week program for children and youth who have completed kindergarten through the eighth grade.
Participants will explore fascinating experiences in Greater Detroit traditions, culture, games, creative arts, writing, and personal academic growth and development.
Learning and engagement are central to a thematic, value-based curriculum in a caring, fun, stress-free, and safe environment. Excursion costs and transportation, meals and snacks, individual learning resources, and internet access for web-enhanced instruction to support learning goal attainment are included in the registration fee.
